As I was about to start my studies in computer science I changed my mind a day before I started my lessons at the University of Bolton, United Kingdom. That is how I started studying photography.
Before that I had always been interested in photography but never thought of it as a way of living. From Bolton I went to Zhaoqing and Dalian, in China in order to continue my studies. As I was studying an MA in photojournalism in China
I started freelancing for various news agencies, newspapers and magazines. In 2007 I moved back to Europe and in 2008 I returned to my hometown, Bilbao.
Since then I have divided my time working on commission for mayor publications and working on personal projects both abroad and in Spain. Some of my clients include Time, The Times, Le Monde, Le Figaro Magazine, New York Times, Monocle, Greenpeace, Wall Street Journal, Internazionale, The Sunday Telegraph, UNESCO and The British Council.
I am now based between Bilbao (Spain) and Bayonne (France) from where I mainly cover all Spain and South West France.
