mexico central american refugees
A man carries a by on his shoulders during a long walk between Arriaga (chiapas) and Chauites (Oaxaca) that takes around 10-15 hours, in Chiapas, Mexico. Traditionally migrants and refugees used to travel by train from Arriaga onwards but since 2014 the INM (Mexican Migration Institute) has increased check points along this route and are stopping train to stop people from reaching the Mexican-US border.
