Cabezon de la Sierra abandoned train station
The abandoned train station of Cabezon de la Sierra, Burgos. "Santander-Mediterraneo" was a railway project started in the 1920's that was never completed and finally abandoned in the 1980's. Many of the train stations built for this huge project, that aimed to link the Cantabrian sea and the Mediterranean, lay abandoned today it forms another sign of the depopulation issue in this area of Spain.
